2016 Microsoft Office Specialist India Championship, Today is the last day for entry

Certiport,a Pearson VUE business, announces the extension of the deadline to enter the 2016 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) India Championship, the popular technology skills competition on Microsoft Office. Thousands of entries have been received from all over India and entries will be accepted until the deadline of 17 April 2016.  The MOS India Championship is the only one endorsed by Microsoft, providing a platform for students to showcase their expert skills using Microsoft Office tools and gain the upper hand in today's competitive academic and professional marketplace.

“We are excited about the success of the MOS India Championship thus far and look forward to naming our national champions,” said Hari Balachandran, Sales Director, Certiport.  “Our winning students have done very well in the past.  Earning MOS certification helps them to prepare for academic and workforce success, and the competition is an opportunity to get extra recognition.”



Students age 13 to 22 can qualify to participate in the MOS India Championship by earning a passing score on one of the following MOS certification exams before 17 April 2016: MOS Word 2010, MOS Excel 2010, MOS PowerPoint 2010, MOS Word 2013, MOS Excel 2013, MOS PowerPoint 2013.

Upon completion of the qualifying round, top students will be invited to attend the 2016 MOS India Championship event in New Delhi from 20-21 May 2016. During the India Championship, all competitors will take a unique competition exam in their track.

The top three students in each track will be honored with prizes and certificates and six First Place Champions will each win an invitation and all-expenses-paid trip to compete in Certiport’s 2016 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship from 7-10 August 2016 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
